The hinge fitted with a spring comprises a knuckle 5 fixed to the front portion of a spectacles' frame and a knuckle 8 integral with a rod 11 housed in the bore 9 of a housing 10. The rod 11 is pushed towards the rear of the side by a spring 16 bearing, on the one hand, against a collar 17 integral with the rod 11 and, on the other hand, against a ring 25 having a rib 26 engaging elastically on a shoulder 27. By virtue of this arrangement, the mounting of the spring assembly in the bore 9 is greatly simplified. ……
