Composite railway platform for passenger trains and tramways - consists of prefab. sections and support plates with legs, corresp. to walking surface

The platform is formed by sections with train facing edges. Each section (2) is a prefab. element, which has a support plate (8), corresp. to the walking surface (3), with integrated support legs (9, 10), as well as concrete shoes (11, 12) abutting the foundation (5). The concrete shoes match the support leg free ends (15). Pref. the concrete shoes are U-shaped and have upwards pointing shanks, when set on the foundation. The shoes have a strap widened w.r.t. the support legs for facilitating assembly connecting. If the shoes are of reinforced concrete, they have anchoring bores, parallel or inclined w.r.t. to the shanks. ADVANTAGE - Simple, stable, and low-cost construction, adaptable to local conditions.
