The platform (1), designed to be used as a mezzanine floor or any other such use comprises a fixed structure (2) and a translationally movable floor (3) having four corners (4), each corner (4) of said floor being attached to a means of vertical translation (5) linked up to a counterweight (6), the platform being characterised in that the fixed structure (2) comprises - three guide posts (7, 14, 21) mounted against the walls (8) of a room and cooperating with three means of translation (5), and - a beam (9) at the top of the platform (1) and cooperating with the fourth means of translation (5).
