<p>The electrical connector with hermaphroditic contact elements includes facing slits into two connector parts which can be joined together, in which connector parts the individual contact elements are mounted, each in the form of a flat blade having at least one terminal elastic arm. It is characterised in that each elastic arm (2) has a width approximately half that of the blade and has an internal edge, virtually on the axis of the blade, which is accessible in a terminal part of the relevant slit (13, 23), via a window (13) in one (11) of the connector parts or on the side of a complementary leg (window jamb) (24) projecting over the other connector part (12), in order to ensure edge-wise mating with the other facing contact element. <IMAGE></p> |
