PURPOSE:To enhance photosensitivity in the wavelength region of 500-900nm by forming on a substrate obtained by dispersing alpha-titanyl-phthalocyanine into a binder to form a composite type electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The finely divided alpha-titanyl-phthalocyanine compd. 2, preferably, titanyl-phthalocyanine and titanyl-chloro phthalocyanine, a positive hole transfer material 4, an electron transfer material 5, and a binder 3 are added to a soln. of a resin dissolved in a proper org. solvent, and milled in a ball mill or the like to prepare a uniform dispersion. The conductive substrate 1 is coated with this dispersion and dried to obtain the composite type electrophotographic sensitive body having the photosensitive layer contg. an electrostatic charge transfer material composed of said components 2, 4, 5, and 3. |
