<p>PURPOSE:To save the presetting time, by presetting automatically the set value to a counter memory when a counter instruction is newly added into a user program. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is applied to a controller, a prescribed initializing routine is executed. Then a mode key of a program console 7 is discriminated. When the mode key shows modes other than a user program execution mode, all user flags U1 in a counter memory 30 are cleared to 0. Then the user program is read out successively and with each instruction to decide whether the user instruction is equal to a counter instruction. When a counter instruction is detected, it is decided whether the preset flag P corresponding to the number of the counter instruction is 1 or not. If the flag P is 1, the set value in the user program is preset to the data region of a counter memory 32. Then the flag P of the corresponding number is set at 0. In such a way, the fact that the set value is preset is recorded and held at the counter memory.</p> |
