PURPOSE:To present a self-luminous road sign body such as a snow-pole, a marker post, etc., excellent in ligibility in the case of night-time or snowing. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery unit 2 consisting of a solar battery 22, a controller 23 and a storage battery 24 is mounted to the upper end of a post 1. The peripheral surface of the post 1 is covered with a cylindrical electroluminescence luminous body 3 connected to the controller 23, and the outside of the luminous body 3 is covered with a clear cylindrical body 4. The luminous body 3 is divided into a plurality of luminous bodies lengthwise, and the effect of a sign is so promoted that adjacent luminous bodies 3 have different colors. The clear cylindrical body 4 has the projected and curved peripheral surface, so that snow or dirt is hard to adhere to the surface, and excellent ligibility is maintained. |
