PURPOSE:To provide the laser beam machine which can work appropriately samples whose wavelength absorbing sensitivity is different, and also, is inexpensive and compact. CONSTITUTION:This laser beam machine is provided with a YAG laser head 2 for emitting a single wavelength light, and image forming optical systems 13-15 for allowing a laser light emitted from the YAG laser head 2 to form an image on the surface of a sample 16. The single wavelength light from the YAG laser head 2 is converted to plural wavelength light by a harmonic generator 3, and one of the respective wavelength light is subjected to wavelength selection by variable optical attenuators 3, 5. The laser light of selected wavelength is led to the image forming optical systems 13-15. |
