<p>PURPOSE:To secure smooth bending motion in a pair of joint members bendably connected through a connecting member by making an escape face formed on each joint member receive a spherical outer face at the end of the connecting member, and mooringly keeping the connecting member through a ball bearing. CONSTITUTION:This joint device is composed of the first and the second joint members 11, 31 connected to a target article to be connected and a connecting member 51 bendably connected between the joint members 11, 31. The joint members 11, 31 and the connecting member 51 are mooringly kept under the condition of sliding contact by a bearing ball 91 held through holding members 72, 92 provided at three spots in a circumferential direction. The joint members 11, 31 severally have external thread parts 13, 33, spherical inner faces 14, 34 with sealing grooves 15, 35, and escape inner faces 16, 36 which severally have mooring grooves 17, 37 and a gradually enlarged diameter. Spherical outer faces 54,56 formed at both the ends of the middle bent connecting part 52 of the connecting member 51 are slidably held in the escape inner faces 16, 36 through packings 18, 38.</p> |
