<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent exposure of aggregate pieces from an end face of a long molded form by preventing contact of cutting means with the pieces upon cutting of a precursor. CONSTITUTION:A precursor 1a in which aggregate pieces are buried in a separate state from each other is obtained. The precursor 1a is interposed to be held between a front clamper 30 and a rear clamper 31, and pulled in a longitudinal direction to increase gaps between the pieces. An eddy current type metal detecting sensor 27 which can detect presence or absence of metal is scanned in this state to detect the gaps between the adjacent pieces in the precursor 1a. A cutter 26 is moved together with the sensor 27. The sensor 27 and the cutter 26 are once stopped at the position where the sensor 27 detects the gaps between the pieces. Then, the cutter 26 is moved down to cut the precursor 1a in a desired length. Thus, the cutter 26 is not brought into contact with the pieces, but surely passed through the gap to be moved down.</p> |
