<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of quality a metal foil layer and a plastic layer due to oxidation, in the production of a flexible metal foil laminated sheet, by oxidatively decomposing the org. solvent in a furnace using a catalyst to remove oxygen in the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A flexible metal foil laminated sheet 1 is introduced into a furnace 3 by a guide roll 2 to be dried and cured at predetermined temp. (250-500 deg.C) in the inert gas stream of nitrogen or the like from an appropriate inert gas introducing port while the concn. of oxygen is set to a predetermined value (0.001-1vol.%). The cured laminated sheet 1 is discharged out of the furnace 3 to be guided by a guide roll 6 and taken up by a take-up up roll 7. The gas in the furnace 3 is sucked by a gas circulating blower 11 and a part thereof is discharged out of the system but the greater part thereof is heated by a heater 12 to be sent into an oxidative decomposition tank 3 packed with a catalyst. The org. solvent in gas is oxidatively decomposed in the oxidative decomposition tank 13 and the treated gas is again introduced into the furnace 3 from the inert gas introducing port 5 along with inert gas such as fresh nitrogen.</p> |
