PURPOSE:To surely sealing a connecting spot between a main pipe and a branch pipe connecting pedestal and to reinforce the above connecting spot. CONSTITUTION:The protruding part 5b of a branch pipe connecting pedestal 5 is threadably attached to the tapped hole of a main pipe 1, and a cylindrical supporting body 17 whose upper end is fittedly locked in the communicating hole 16 of the protruding part 5b is drawn up by a drawing up jig to make the flange part 21 of the cylindrical supporting body 17 deform a sealing member 7 and a backup ring 22 along the tapered face 23 of the protruding part 5b, and the sealing member 7 is thereby stuck fast from the tapered face 23 to the inner periphery of a lining layer 8.
