<p>PURPOSE:To securely and effectively perform straightening of a metallic sheet by a roll straightener through rolling reduction of straightening rolls controlled automatically by the curvature of the metallic sheet. CONSTITUTION:The curvature of the metallic sheet A bent by straightening rolls 2, 2' of the roll straightener 1 is measured by at least one curvature measuring apparatus 4 equipped on the roll straightener 1, the metallic sheet A is straightened by controlling the rolling reduction of the straightening 2, 2' from the measured curvature and a preset curvature to flatten the metallic sheet A.</p> |
