PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition capable of providing a foam having high mold release properties, strength, abrasion resistance and impact resilience by blending a hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene-based copolymer with an unsaturated carboxylic acid salt, a higher fatty acid salt, a foaming agent and an organic peroxide. CONSTITUTION:The objective rubber composition capable of providing a foam excellent in mold release properties and excellent in strength, abrasion resistance, heat resistance and impact resilience after vulcanization is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer having 36wt.% acrylonitrile content and 28 iodine value with (B) 10-60 pts.wt. ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid metallic salt (e.g. dimethacrylic acid zinc salt), (C) 0.5-20 pts.wt. higher fatty acid metallic salt (e.g. azodicarboxylic acid amide), (D) 1-15 pts.wt. foaming agent (e.g. azodicarboxylic acid amide) and (E) 0.2-10 pts.wt. organic peroxide [e.g. 1,3-bis-(tert. butylperoxyisopropyl)benzine. |
