PURPOSE:To simply execute a plurality of printings in each predetermined range of a printed matter by providing print means for controlling printing corresponding to a detection signal from detecting means for detecting a predetermined position of the matter. CONSTITUTION:A label sheet X is fed by a feed roller 7, and wound on a label reel 21 to be moved in a forward direction. A label (x) pasted to the sheet X is detected by a sensor 22 arranged before a printing head 1. When a controller 25 detects the label (x), it controls a press roller 2 and the head 1 after it is fed by a predetermined distance, thereby printing the label (x). When the label (x) must be printed plural times, the controller 25 sends a command to the roller 7 and the label reels 9, 21 to make the roller 7 and the reel 21 free to rotate the reel 9, thereby winding in a predetermined length. The sheet X is moved forward by the roller 7 and the reel 21 and secondly printed. |
