<p>PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic fiber capable of eliminating the deterioration in rough surface conditions of fiber surface, each process property of spinning, drawing, etc., and mechanical characteristics of the fiber and further sufficiently manifesting magnetic characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic fiber is a conjugate fiber, constructed with (A) a protective layer component composed of a fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer and (B) a polymer layer component containing magnetic particles in an amount within the range of 5-85wt.% and characterized in that the magnetic particles are a mixture of particles (D1) with (D2) having a specific particle size distribution at a weight ratio of the particles (D1)/(D2) within the range of (10/90) to (90/10).</p> |
