PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency for a heat accumulation and radiation of a heat accumulator by setting the spring constant of a resilient member so as to allow the inherent vibration frequency of the mass of a heat accumulator to have a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulator 1 incorporating a heat accumulator core in which a heat accumulating medium is stored, a space being left in the upper part thereof, and which is then closed, is supported by a vehicle body 80, 81 carrying thereon an engine, through the intermediary of a resilient member 8 so as to be vibratable, relative to the vehicle body. Further, the spring constant of the resilient member 87 is set so as to allow the inherent vibration frequency of the mass of the heat accumulator 1 to have a value in a range from 15 to 50Hz, and accordingly, the vibration of the vehicle body 80, 81 is damped during engine idling operation. With the use of the resonant frequency, the efficiency of heat-exchange between the heat transmission medium and the heat transmission medium in the heat accumulator 1 is enhanced. |
