<p>PURPOSE:To granulate a large amount of anaerobic microorganisms in a short period of time in order to considerably shorten the operation time of the production equipment in a factory by adding the granulation accelerating agent consisting of lactic acid or the substance containing lactic acid into the reactor having the anaerobic microorganisms introduced therein as seed bacteria. CONSTITUTION:To granulate anaerobic microorganisms, raw water is supplied from a raw water tank 1 to a methane fermentation reactor 3 by a raw water pump 2. The methane fermentation reactor 3 is previously filled with the anaerobic microorganisms. Lactic acid is supplied as a granulation accelerating agent into the raw water tank 1 or methane fermentation reactor 3. In addition to the lactic acid as a decomposition intermediate from high-molecular substance in the raw water, the lactic acid is added thereto as the granulation accelerating agent, whereby a large amount of lactic acid decomposing bacteria grows to granulate a large amount of the anaerobic microorganisms in a short period of time.</p> |
