摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the interlock by correcting the control signal output of an electric-hydraulic conversion valve when the interlock of a gear speed change device is predicted in the switching control of a hydraulic friction element during the speed change. CONSTITUTION:A control device of an automatic transmission is provided with electric-hydraulic conversion valves 400A-400D, an acceleration sensor to detect the acceleration of a vehicle, and an electronic control device 4 consisting of a means to compute the change of the vehicle acceleration during the specified time period, a means to predict the interlock of the speed change device based on the specified reference value of the change of the vehicle acceleration and a hydraulic control means to correct the control signal of the electric-hydraulic conversion valve when the interlock of the speed change device is predicted. This constitution allows prevention of the impossible traveling of the vehicle, the burning of the hydraulic friction element or the sudden braking during traveling, simplification of the hydraulic circuit without necessary arrangement of a switching valve for each oil passage, or suppression of the rise of the inconvenience generation probability in the hydraulic circuit such as valve stick.
