PURPOSE:To obtain a non-burnt magnesia-carbon brick excellent in corrosion resistance by using magnesia made of an inexpensively and easily obtained natural magnesite as a main raw material. CONSTITUTION:This brick consists of 70-95wt.% magnesia, containing >=95wt.% MgO and having >=2 CaO/SiO2 mol ratio and >=700mum average diameter of periclase crystal, and 5-30wt.% flake graphite consisting of >=90wt.% fixed carbon in total carbon and is obtained by adding further an antioxidant and a binder thereinto. |
