FEED FOR ZOOPLANKTON, CULTURE OF FLAGELLATA TO BE USED AS THE FEED AND PRODUCTION OF DHA-RICH OIL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the subject feed enriched in DHA essential for raising marine fish, containing Crysecodinium, a kind of Flagellata. CONSTITUTION:Crysecodinium, a kind of unicellular algae 8-20mum in cell dimension, is cultured at 20 deg.C (pref. 10-20 deg.C) in a medium with glutamic acid or a salt thereof or a nitrogen compound of yeast extract, as nitrogen source, and an alcohol as carbon source to obtain the objective feed.
