PURPOSE:To provide simple switching mechanism for an invoking movement and a caulking movement, in a caulking device for caulking a rivet by two reciprocating movements of the invoking process and the caulking process for the rivet. CONSTITUTION:On the outer peripheral surface of a pressurizing member 16, a cam groove 21 is engraved on the whole periphery and a pin 22 protruded on a pressurizing device body 13 is slidably inserted, and according to the rise/ fall of the pressurizing member, the pressurizing member is turned at 180 deg. angle pitch. Both end parts of the cam groove are endlessly communicated through the cam groove. Into a through-hole 25a pierced in advance on piled works to be tied, the rivet 20 is inserted from an upper part, and by working the caulking device in the condition of facing a dent part 16b formed to the shape of the rivet head part arranged in the pressurizing member to an access hole 23 in a receiving base 14, the rivet is invoked. Successively, by ascending the pressurizing member, the pressurizing member is turned at 180 deg. angle, and by successive lowering, the rivet is caulked between the rivet and the abutting surface 24.
