PURPOSE:To provide an absorptive body utilized for a disposable diaper etc., and with excellent dimensional stability. CONSTITUTION:An absorptive body contains a pulp and a water absorptive polymer and is prepd. by mixing 5-20wt.% thermoplastic fibrous material to the pump and 5-20wt.% high m.p. fiber with a m.p. being higher than that for the thermoplastic fibrous material to the pulp and thermoforming the mixture at a temp. where the thermoplastic fibrous material is fused. |
