PURPOSE:To produce a rubber foam continuously in good productivity. CONSTITUTION:The production process comprises kneading 100 pts.wt. natural or synthetic rubber comprising at least 70wt.%, based on the whole rubber component, ethylene/propylene rubber with 7-20 pts.wt. asphalt, 5-20 pts.wt. softener and a blowing agent, a crosslinking agent, an assistant and an accelerator as the essential adjuvants, forming the mixture into a sheet 2 of a predetermined thickness with an extruder, continuously leading this sheet to a heating oven 1, and foaming it. |
