PURPOSE:To provide a water-base pigment ink giving satisfiable printing image quality by ink-jet recording apparatus and usable without forming a liquid stagnation near the ejection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The recording liquid contains a water-soluble solution, a pigment, a water-soluble resin, water and a surfactant selected from among phosphoric acid ester-type surfactant, fluorine-containing surfactant, boron-containing surfactant and polyoxyethylene alkyl ether-type or polyoxyethylene alkenyl ether-type surfactant. |
