<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method of estimating the snow damage of a transmission line, which reduces the failure of estimation, i.e., a method estimating the snow damage of a transmission line which does not overlook the weather condition where the possibility of accident is high. CONSTITUTION:This method is one which outputs an alarm to show the possibility of an accident by snow damage when the estimated quantity of adhering snow is over threshold, being equipped with a quantity-of-adhering-snow estimator 2, which estimates the quantity of snow adhering to a transmission line based on weather data and transmission line data, and a threshold device 2d, which gives a threshold to the estimated quantity of adhering snow.</p> |
