<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the voltage rise of a generator at the time of opening a generator breaker. CONSTITUTION:A device comprises a generator 1 connected to a generator breaker 10, exciter 2 for exciting the generator 1, field winding 3 of the exciter and a voltage rise suppressing resistor 11 connected in series to the exciter field winding 3, when the generator breaker 10 opens between a secondary side DC converter circuit 7 of an exciting converter for detecting a load current flowing in the generator and the field winding 3 of the exciter.</p> |
