<p>PURPOSE:To surely send a cell with high priority by allowing a congestion control section to lower a threshold value of an operating rate so as to enhance an abort rate of a cell with low priority on the occurrence of a bypass in which cells inputted to a transmission buffer are increased. CONSTITUTION:Line data are inputted from a reception processing section to an equipment control section 20 and a congestion control section 19 receiving bypass occurrence information from the control section 20 to 1st to 5 lines 2a-2e revises threshold values X1-X5 of lines 2a-2e and informs it to a buffer operating state monitor section 14. The monitor section 14 monitors the line state by the threshold level revision to send an instruction a transmission data write control section 13 and the control section 13 gives an instruction a path selection section 15. Thus, the write inhibit of a voice cell with lower priority to a transmission buffer 17 of the line 2e and inputted from the selection section 15 to a transmission processing section 16-5 depends on the revised threshold value. Thus, the cell with high priority is surely sent to the receiver side without being aborted.</p> |
