PURPOSE:To provide the traveling monitoring device of a vehicle capable of evading danger beforehand. CONSTITUTION:A present position measuring device 10 obtains the present position of the vehicle, a storage device 12 stores area map data and route information and stores road danger information as well and a vehicle traveling state detection device 14 detects the traveling state of the vehicle. An inference means (CPU) 20 infers the degree of danger for the traveling state of the vehicle basing on the present position of the vehicle and road danger information and a reporting means 16 reports the inferred result of the inference means 20. Thus, even when the conditions of a road is unknown, the vehicle can travel while evading the danger. |
