The sun-shade (6) is mounted on a pivot arm (8) to a base (7) which is fixed to the windscreen (2) by an adhesive (11). The top edge of the base (12) is inserted between the windscreen and the lip of the windscreen aperture in the bodywork. The sun-shade may be mounted on a long rod, the end of which may be lodged in a hook glued to the windscreen. The base may be fixed to the windscreen prior to fitting to the bodywork. ADVANTAGE - Assembly is easier and cheaper, the sun-shade is mounted lower, there is more space for the sunshine roof, and dismantling for re-cycling is made easier.
