PURPOSE:To store plural pieces of map information and to change the display form of road information for constituting the map information even without changing the stored map information. CONSTITUTION:A display processing means 102 reads the map information constituted of more than one piece of the road information including a road identifier and a road attribute for indicating an existent road and a planned road from a first storage means 101 and displays the road information for constituting the map information on a display means 103 in the different display forms in the case when the road attribute indicates the existent road and in the case when it indicates the planned road. Also, the road information selected and instructed from the outside is changed from the display form for indicating the planned road to the display form for indicating the existent road. A second storage means 104 stores the road identifier of the road information whose display form is changed by the display processing means 102 and the display processing means 102 displays the road information whose road identifier is stored in the second storage means 104 by the display form for indicating the existent road.
