<p>PURPOSE:To freely operate one optional auxiliary storage device by one set of connecting cables by providing plural sets of input/output terminal groups in an extension box and loading the auxiliary storage device. CONSTITUTION:In the extension box 3, an exension bus signal 11 and a floppy disk control signal 12 which are inputted/outputted by a personal computer 1 are connected to the input/output terminal groups 23-1 to 23-(n) by way of a bi-directional buffer circuit 21. An SCSI control signal 13 is directly connected to the input/output terminal groups 23-1 to 23-(n). Besides, a power source circuit 22 provides power source for the circuit 21 and the input/output terminal groups. Thus, the signals 11 to 13 and power source are provided for a floppy disk device 4, a hard disk device and an IC memory card 6 which are loaded in the same housing and they are connected to the personal computer 1 by a table 2 so that the optional auxiliary storage device among them is enabled to freely operate.</p> |
