PURPOSE:To provide an on-vehicle map display device with which a traveling route is easily discriminated by a driver. CONSTITUTION:In the on-vehicle map display device provided with a map data storage means 2 for storing road network data, a position measuring means 1 for finding the present position of a vehicle mounting the on-vehicle map display device, a setting input means 3 for at least receiving the input of a destination and a display means 6 for at least displaying the present position found at the position measuring means 1 and the destination received at the setting input means 3, a display road selecting means 4 for extracting the road network data for indicating the traveling route from the road network data stored in the map data storage means 2, the position information of the destination received at the setting input means 3 and present position information found at the position measuring means 1 is provided and the display means 6 displays the route extracted by the display road selecting means 4 on a screen. |
