<p>PURPOSE: To increase a friction charge value and electric conductivity value by incorporating color toner particles, bare carrier core particles and coated carrier particles into the compsn. CONSTITUTION: This color developer compsn. consists of the toner particles, the bare carrier core particles and the coated carrier particles. The bare carrier core particles preferably exist in the effective amt. of about 5 to about 75wt.%, further preferably about 5 to 50wt.% in accordance with the total weight of the bare carrier core particles and the coated carrier particles. The developer compsn. is prepd. not by mixing the bare carrier core particles and the coated carrier particles with the toner particles by adding these particles to the toner particles. For example, the replenishing developer compsn. (replenishing agent) added for replenishing a developer storage device is held unmixed in such a manner that both of the coated carrier particles and the bare carrier particles are held separated from the toner particles in the replenishing agent. These particles are mixed by mechanical means in a developer reservoir.</p> |
