<p>PURPOSE:To save power when an SCSI controller does not actually operate. CONSTITUTION:For detecting that the SCSI controller 101 does not actually operate, for supplying a low speed clock signal or the signal of a fixed level to an internal circuit and for setting a system to be a sleeping mode, at least a clock frequency-dividing circuit 102, a clock selection circuit 103, a bus free detection circuit 104, a wake-up detection circuit 105 and an RS flip flop circuit 107 are added to the SCSI controller. Thus, power consumed in the controller internal circuit can considerably be reduced when the SCSI controller does not actually operate.</p> |
