PURPOSE: To lower the value of the intensity of an electric field generated in front of a display screen of a display tube of this display apparatus. CONSTITUTION: This display apparatus is provided with a display tube 7 and a deflecting unit 9. A high d.c. voltage (EHT) is generated by a line output transformer which receives fly back pulse during a line fly back period. This fly back pulse is transmitted through the line output transformer and supplied as a high d.c. voltage (EHT) to the inner coating film 11 in the display tube. The fluctuation of the high d.c. voltage generates an alternating electric field in front side of the display tube. To eliminate the generation, a conductor 19 is connected between an earth terminal 21 of the line output transformer and an outside coating film of the display tube. The conductor is turned at least one-turn on one coil of a plurality of coils of a deflecting unit and a complementing electric field is generated by the turn of the conductor to lower the radiation in front of the display tube. |
