PURPOSE:To automatically decide which tray is best for using by providing a priority order storage table showing what kind of paper and tray are preferentially used. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine main body 40 has its control part 41 and the priority order storage table 42 showing what kind of transfer paper and tray are preferentially used. In an operational part 50, a display part 4 displays the number of copies, the size of a form, the kind of form, etc. The kind of transfer paper (plain paper, recycled paper, color paper, etc.) loaded on each of the trays 43 is inputted by a paper kind input button 52. A paper kind signal and a priority order signal from the operational signal 50 are informed to the control part 41 of the copying machine main body 40 and the control part 41 stores the received paper kind signal in the priority order storage table 42. Then, the selection of the trays 43 is attained according to contents stored in the priority order storage table 42 and an image is copied on the transfer paper of the selected tray 43. |
