A ratchet tensioning device for the step-by-step tensioning and releasing of clamping belts, having a console (1), a clamping lever (2), a winding-on shaft (4), which supports a ratchet wheel (3, 3'), and two ratchets. The ratchet wheel (3, 3') is the common locking piece for the two ratchets. The drive ratchet, which acts between the clamping lever (2) and the winding-on shaft (4), is used for the rotating drive of the winding-on shaft (4). The ratchet which protects against turning backwards and acts between the console (1) and the winding-on shaft (4) protects the winding-on shaft (4) against turning backwards. The ratchet which protects against turning backwards consists of the ratchet wheel (3, 3') and of two separate locking slides (5, 5'). The locking slides (5, 5') can be pushed back out of the tooth system (33) alternately by means of an unlocking cam (37) which is integrally formed on the clamping lever (2), as a result of which the ratchet can be unlocked in a step-by-step manner. …<IMAGE>… |
