A card shuffler having a stock container arranged in a housing to receive a mixed stack of cards, which stock container is provided with a removal opening for the individual removal of cards, and having a shuffling container to receive cards to be shuffled, which shuffling container is adjustable relative to the stock container, a drive for the shuffling container and a drive for an ejector, which transports individual cards from said shuffling container into the stock container, being controlled by a random generator. In order to allow a simple construction in such a card shuffler, provision is made for the shuffling container (8) to be arranged next to the stock container (2) and to be movable parallel thereto, and for the ejector (14) to move cards from the shuffling container (8) into the stock container (2), it being possible for the cards to be shuffled to be introduced in an end position of the shuffling container (8) into the housing (1) through an opening (34) therein. <IMAGE> |
