<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic recording and reproducing device in which video signals can be digital-recorded so that a high speed reproduction screen can be easily seen at the time of a high speed reproduction, at the time of compressing the video signals by (n) field units, and recording the video signals in plural tracks. CONSTITUTION:Significant SYNC blocks including the low frequency components of a basic screen and insignificant SYNC blocks are prepared by a SYNC block data preparing circuit 4, and the data are rearranged by a recording data rearranging means 5 so that the significant SYNC blocks reproduced from the plural tracks at the time of the high speed reproduction at a specific speed can be arranged so as to be adjacent on a screen, and recorded on a magnetic tape. Then, at the time of the high speed reproduction, the data of the significant SYNC blocks are decoded by a decoding circuit 18, the decoded data are stored in a memory by an output signal processing circuit 19, and the high speed reproduction pictures are prepared in a timing in which the reproduction cycle of the significant SYNC blocks is detected.</p> |
