The essence of the invention lies in measuring the resonance frequencies of an isolated volume of the continuous medium under investigation by creating longitudinal and transverse (in relation to the axis of symmetry of the said volume) electromagnetic oscillations; the resonance frequency values, the proposed algorithm, and the temperature and pressure are then used to determine the fundamental thermal characteristics of the two-phase continuous medium including flow. The resonance frequencies are measured using half-wave or quarter-wave resonators (4, 5) arranged in sequence. The relationship between the dimensions of the resonators and their frequency characteristics is such that the results obtained are unambiguous.
|
