The invention relates to an apparatus for making frustum of cone shaped fibre barrels (6), comprising a substantially frustum of cone shaped drum (1) which is associated with driving means able of rotating the drum (1) about its axis and comprising means (2) for removably holding a paper sheet to be processed.On this drum operate paper sheet pressing means (21,22) and upstream of the drum (1) there is provided a paper sheet supplying roller (8),the paper sheets (5) having, on at least a face thereof,at least an adhesive material layer,an adjustable cutting assembly (17,18) being further arranged between the drum (1) and paper sheet supplying roller (8).
