The invention concerns a valve (1) designed to allow air to pass into evacuated chambers, enclosures, etc., the valve having a seat (3) and an obturator (4). In order to ensure that the air passes in rapidly and silently without valve malfunction, the invention proposes that a Laval nozzle (8) is connected to the aperture (2) in the valve seat (3), that the obturator (4) has a central nose (14) which projects into the Laval nozzle (8) when the valve is closed and when it is partly opened, and that the nose (14) is shaped in such a way that, in every position of the valve (1), the cross-section of the flow gap between the nose and the inside wall of the Laval nozzle (8) is the smallest possible. |
