<p>The invention provides a system and method for improving processing of Optical Read Character (OCR) scanned mail. Such an automatic mail processing is vested with an interactive learning capability. Ambiguous envelope address blocks and information fields are resolved using a unique mode of human/machine interaction that achieves a sustained high rate of automatic mail sortation.</p> |
