Described is a latch-locked vacuum-type circuit breaker (1) with two independently actuated magnets (12, 15). While the first magnet (12) is mounted, together with a locking lever (13), inside the drive-unit housing (2), the second magnet (15) is mounted on an outside wall (22) of the housing (2). An actuator lever (26) which projects into the interior of the housing (2) connects the second magnet with the locking lever (13). The two magnets (12, 15) are not connected to each other electrically and ensure independent, reliable actuation of the circuit breaker (1).
