<p>A vapour which is to be led through a vapour pipe (10), is treated for drops by means of a device (14). The device (14) is constituted of two circular disks (18, 19), at the periphery of which a net (17) is attached. The device (14) rotates with such a rotary velocity that the peripheral velocity of the radial outer end of each opening in the net (17) exceeds the penetrating velocity of the vapour and consequently that of the drops/foam through the net. Hereby, the drops will be prevented from passing through the openings so that only pure vapour passes through a vapour extraction opening (9, 9'), which is positioned inside a casing (26), which is formed by the net (17) and the disks (18, 19). The rotating device (14) may also be used to reduce foam on the surface (15) of a liquid (4), which is boiled in a vessel (3). Hereby, foam is prevented from reaching the vapour extraction opening (9, 9').</p> |
