The transmission base fluid clutch, such as a Fottinger clutch or hydrodynamic torque converter. It has at least one housing connectable with a drive shaft and at least one turbine wheel connectable with the input shaft of a drive train such as a gearbox.There can be at least one guide wheel mounted in the power flow between the housing and a driven part of the device with at least one circumferentially acting energy accumulator. The energy accumulator is mounted radially outside and in the power flow between at least one turbine wheel and the driven part of the device.
