The elasticity module of the material forming the slide guide (3) together with the geometry and dimensioning of the guide web (33) are so determined that the housing (1) of the tap head at a specific gas pressure under deformation of the guide web (33) lifts from the plate (30) of the keg fitting. Between the plate (30) and the ring seal (24) a gap is then present, via which a gas excess pressure is discharged. The gap with rising excess gas pressure enlarges and with falling pressure closes again. The guide web (33) engaging under the edge of the plate (30) is directed inclined upward. USE/ADVANTAGE - The tap head is so formed that excess gas pressure in the keg can be discharged without the use of an excess pressure valve.
