The plastics conduit (7) penetrates a steel gas pipe (5) sepd. from the street-side main conduit (1), and extends outwards from the main conduit to the level of the house wall duct (8) of the gas pipe (5) where it is connected in a gas-tight manner via a coupling muff (9) with a steel pipe (10) leading into the house interior (3). On the peripheral side of the steel pipe (10) is fixed a rotary screw cap (13) on an outer thread (18) of the gas pipe (5), which is supported via a flange (19) surrounding the gas pipe (5) together with distance components located in the flange (19) on the inner side (25) of the house wall (6). The distance components are formed by three pressure screws (22) equally distributed on the periphery of the flange (19). USE/ADVANTAGE - The gas pipe restoration device with which even with tractive effects on the plastics pipes does not affect adversely the correct position of the steep pipes in the house interior.
