<p>A device for separating one or more components from a fluid such as gas, water, oil and so on, which device is provided with a closed drum-like carrier driven rotatably on an axis and having means for feeding respectively discharging the fluid, wherein one or more filter elements are arranged in the carrier and each filter element has a fluid duct extending between the rotational axis and drum wall, which combination of rotating drum and filter element first effects a separation of a heavier fraction and then a filtration of the lighter fractions.</p> |
